Where is the hotel's parking garage located and how much does parking cost?

We offer special valet parking so that you can enjoy a relaxed stay at the Grand Ferdinand. Simply drive up to our main entrance. We'll unload your luggage for you and park your car at the nearby Corso underground parking garage. So that you can begin your outings right from our front door, we'll retrieve your car at any time, as often as you like. Valet parking is available for EUR 40.00 per day.

If you don't want to use our service "Valet parking", It's up to you and you can park by yourself at Corso underground parking garage. Parking is availaible for EUR 29.00 per day.

What is the best way to reach the Grand Ferdinand from the airport?

The easiest way is to use our own car service. For EUR 70 per journey your personal driver will meet you in the airport's arrival hall. With a name sign, of course, and he will drive you to the hotel in a Mercedes E-class limousine. Or you choose a very comfortable Mercedes S-class limousine four EUR 110 per journey. You travel with with bulky luggage? Then we recommend a Mercedes van - for EUR 90 one way. How do I reach the Grand Ferdinand by public transport from the railway station or airport?

The most convenient way is of course by taxi. The address of the Grand Ferdinand is Schubertring 10-12.

From the railway station: The Südtiroler Platz metro station is located at the railway station. From there, take line U1 toward Leopoldau and get off at Karlsplatz station. The Grand Ferdinand is approximately 500 m (six minutes by foot) from Musikvereinsplatz, Pestalozzigasse and the Kärntner Ring.

From the airport: From the arrivals hall, it is a five-minute walk to Flughafen Wien railway station. From there, take line S7 toward Wien-Floridsdorf and get off at Rennweg station. Take tram 71 toward Börse and get off at Schwarzenbergplatz station. The Ringstraße, and the Grand Ferdinand, is a three-minute walk from the bus stop.

Or you take the City Airport Train (CAT). It drives every 30 minutes to and from the airport Schwechat. The CAT is within walking distance from the hotel 11 minutes . Tickets are available from EUR 11.00 per person per trip.

Is there a Concierge in the hotel?

Is there a pool?

Yes there is an outdoor pool (7 x 3 meters). On the roof of the Grand Ferdinand you can relax at 23° water temperature while you are overlooking the rooftops of Vienna. In your room you will find bathrobes and bath slippers, towels are provided directly by the pool and of course they are free of charge. The swimming pool is open yearlong from 7.00 am to 8.00 pm.

Does the Grand Ferdinand allow pets and what does it cost to bring my pet?

We welcome pets for an additional EUR 30.00 per day and pet (includes a dog bed, dog bowl, map with dog walks and room cleaning). Please note that this price does not include food. Due to hygiene regulations dogs are not allowed on the 8th floor.

Does the Grand Ferdinand offer a laundry and ironing service?

The Grand Ferdinand offers both of these services. A laundry list and bag are available in your room to use. Simply contact the reception desk at any time. Our staff will have your belongings laundered as quickly as possible. We would also be happy to iron any wrinkled clothing. Please contact the reception desk for this service as well.

Does the Grand Ferdinand have its own exercise room?

Yes, an exercise room with the latest equipment from technogym is located on the 1st floor overlooking our oase. It is open 24/7 to all guests.

Can I book a massage?

Yes, we gladly organise a massage for you. Just refer to the reception desk. The masseur comes directly to the hotel.

Are smokers welcome at the Grand Ferdinand?

Of course we welcome smokers. However, smoking is only permitted in certain areas. As a non-smoking hotel, we kindly ask that you refrain from smoking in rooms and public areas. Please feel free to smoke on the balconies of our suites and in the outdoor area of the rooftop terrace on the 8th floor.

Can I make a reservation without a credit card?

In principle, yes. However, we reserve the right to cancel bookings without a credit card guarantee from 6 p.m. onwards the day before arrival. To keep your room please contact our reservations department under +43 1 91 880 - 400 or send a mail to reservations@grandferdinand.com

We generally require a credit card on busy days, such as New Year's Eve. Or you have the option of securing a room by paying in advance.

We only need your credit card to guarantee your reservation. Your card will not be charged when you book your room. You will only be billed once you check out, or if you cancel after the cancellation deadline or fail to arrive as scheduled.

What is your cancellation policy?

Rooms booked at our regular rate can be cancelled free of charge up to 6.00 pm on the day before your scheduled arrival. Later cancellations will be billed for the first night. It is a good idea to read our full cancellation policy in your reservation confirmation.

What time are check-in and check-out?

Your room will be available any time after 3.00 pm on the day of your arrival. Check-out is by 12.00 noon. If you decide that you would like to extend your stay or would like to check out later, please contact our reception team for availability and options.

Is a late check-out possible?

Upon availability and upon request it would be our pleasure. For a additional charge of 30.00 or 50.00 Euro you can extend your time of departure to 2,00 or 4.00 pm. Simply speak with the reception team to arrange your check-out time.
Please note: a late check-out for our Suites is not possible.

When is breakfast offered?

You can enjoy our extensive breakfast buffet with a marvellous view of Vienna in the restaurant "Limón" on the 8th floor. Or, if you'd like to take advantage of Vienna's nightlife or spend a little extra time in our soft beds, late Viennese breakfast, featuring specialities such as goulash and sandwiches, or an à la carte breakfast is available starting at 8.00 am at Gulasch & Söhne on the ground floor.

How much is the breakfast?

When making a reservation via our website, by telephone or by e-mail, breakfast costs EUR 35 per person per day. Late decision-makers can also book breakfast after check-in for EUR 38 per person per day.

Breakfast is free for children up to 2 years and for children from 3-13 years breakfast costs 19.00 EUR per child per day.

Does the hotel have a restaurant?

Guests of the Grand Ferdinand can look forward to three restaurants. Visit our bistro Gulasch & Söhne for a nice breakfast or quick lunch or as the perfect first stop on a tour of Vienna's evening cultural activities. Or enjoy the lovely ambiance and a menu inspired by Vienna's grand cuisine at the Meissl & Schadn restaurant, which leaves nothing to be desired. Above it all is our Limón, with Mediterranean cuisine on the top floor.
